Update! Anyone in Louisville/Owensboro, KY area?*dog rescue*

Hey guys!

A friend from another board has found a 16 y/o toy poodle on the kill-list at an animal shelter in Owensboro, KY. She lives near Philadelphia.

I am in Huntington, WV, so about 5 hours from Owensboro.

I was wondering if anyone in that area might be able to help me do some sort of elderly poodle dog-relay, and get him to Louisville or Lexington, where I could pick him up and take him to Pittsburgh.

I am off tomorrow and Monday.

Perilous is wonderful and picked up Petey today. Tomorrow I will take him up to Morgantown, WV to meet up with the girl he is going to live with. He doesn't look 16!

I don't mean to sound heartless, but the dog is already 16. That's pretty old for a dog to adjust to a new life, new owners, new place, etc.

this person has found a lot of joy in rescuing older toofless poodles. She is very aware of what she is potentially getting into.

Awwww...what a wonderful update I took in a senior rescue as well (although not 16!) and it has been a wonderful experience. And bless you, Perilous, for helping out!!

As you know...we'd love pictures if possible!!
